PHOTOS: How Comedian ‘Elenu’ Proposed to girlfriend

Ace comedian, Akinlami Babatunde Julius, popularly known as Elenu proposed to his long time girlfriend, Chinwe Anyanwu, on Sunday October 21st at Federal Palace Hotel.

Chinwe went with her boyfriend of three years to what she thought was dinner with friends, but when the waiter brought her plate to the table, It was a ring served in it. Awwww, so romantic!!

Comedian AY and his wife, Tinsel actor Gbenro Ajibade, comedian MC Shakara, designer Yomi Casual and music video director, Patrick Ellis were all there to share in their friend’s special day.

They call him Buuurrrna… Boy. Burna Boy had a great performance at the Headies awards last weekend, but prior to the performance things turned up. Burnahe missed a step and fell off stage. Check out the video of how it happened and his performance at the awards.

Wizkid Finally Replaces Osagie With New Manager ‘Godwin Tom’

News broke sometime in July that Wizkid had parted ways with his long-time manager Osagie Osarenkhoe, and he had label executives handle matters that concern his career which couldn’t happen for long but he has hired a new one which he has taken his time to do, it seems.

If going by face that was around the Starboy at the Headies on Saturday, Wizkid now have a new manager who also happens to be the manager of female singing sensation Waje Iruobe. His name is Godwin Tom and he is no stranger to the music industry as he previously managed M.I. and most recently Show Dem Camp.

It does seem that Wizkid and his new manager are bonding well. Though no official words from both parties yet as they are still finalizing issues.

In other news, Wizkid has been announced as part of the line up of performers for the BBC Radio 1xtra Live alongside Trey Songz and Kendrick Lamar..

Tai Solarin's widow, Sheila Solarin, passes on

Madam Sheila Solarin (Nee Tuer), the wife of Dr Tai Solarin, the educator and author who established the famous Mayflower School, Ikenne, Ogun State, has died. British born Sheila Mary, who was a co-founder of the Mayflower School, died yesterday October 21st 2012 at Babcock University Teaching Hospital in Sagamu. She was 88 years old. Tai Solarin died in 1994 at the age of 71. May her soul rest in peace...amen.

Governor Rochas Okorocha punches Governor Obi’s aide over seat

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State on Saturday punched a protocol officer who refused to allow him sit on a chair reserved for the Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, at the 80th birthday celebration of former vice president, Chief Alex Ekwueme, in Enugu.

The incident occurred 20 minutes before most of the invited guests arrived.
