The youngster was spotted heading back to his New York hotel after a night out at posh club, Espace, with Justin Bieber.
Justin, 17, obviously enjoys the company of the young actor and feels like they have something in common, what with them both being teen stars.
And perhaps the similarities lie in their style and height, as although Justin is four years older than his friend, they look like they could be the same age.
Jaden, who had just performed at the Pencils Of Promise Gala in the Big Apple, certainly looked much older than his 13 years as he chatted away on his mobile phone.
Wearing black skinny jeans with a matching blazer, the son of Hollywood stars Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, looked smart as he followed his friend closely.
Something in common: The pair met up at the Pencils Of Promise Gala and then enjoyed some time at the Espace club
He also wore a bright red shirt with a black bow tie and finished off his look with a black hoody, which he wore up.
The Somebody To Love singer looked equally as smart wearing similar black jeans to Jaden, but with a white shirt, black tie and velvet blazer.
It may have seemed like a typical night out to the pair, but the heavy security following Jaden was a dead giveaway to his young age and was probably a request of his famous parents.
Happy pair: Jaden chatted on his mobile phone as he was escorted by security and Justin looked like he was in good spirits
The pair began their friendship last year after Jaden featured on Justin's song, Never Say Never, which is the theme tune for The Karate Kid remake in which Jaden played the lead.
The teenager began his acting career when he was five-years-old but shot to fame in the 2006 film, The Pursuit Of Happiness, where he starred alongside his father.
Justin has also tried his hand at acting and appeared in an episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation last year.
No doubt the two have a lot in common and Justin can teach the youngster a thing or two about working in the industry but surely there's not much fun to be had at a New York Club when you're 13 and 17.
Firm friends: The young stars worked with each
other last year on Justin's single Never Say Never which was the theme
tune for Jaden's film The Karate Kid
