Katy Perry has been running strong since the summer of 2010 when she released her smash
“California Gurls”, and ever since the Katy Perry train has been running and running songs. Five #1 singles, a double platinum album, and 122 tour dates on her
‘California Dreams Tour’ later – she has announced that she’s taking a break. According to the
New York Post, her and her management have agreed to take time off from music so she can start up a family with the man she married last year – Russell Brand. How long will she really be able to be out the public eye however? She’s arguably one of the most popular artists in the world, could be being off a full year hurt her career? Or will the break do her good and make the fans want some music from her again?
But before she takes her break, Ms.
Katy Perry will be hosting the December 10th episode of Saturday Night Live. Katy Perry, who has shown us her acting chops in her video
“Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)” will finally get to show off her humorous side for the full hour and a half sketch comedy show. Now that’s a good look.
