A man from Ghana who ought to have given shelter and taken care of a teenage girl, instead did the unthinkable.
The Ghanian raped his teenage step-daughter, promising to marry her.
The 15-year-old told police that her mother had married the man just two years ago. However, her mom Died after suffering from cancer and she was left at the mercy of her step-father.
One day, he allegedly walked into her room and abused her. When she raised a cry, he promised to marry her. And then his visits became frequent.
After a few months, she fell ill with stomach pain and visited a doctor, who diagnosed that she was pregnant.
The man has been arrested, pending court hearing.
