Obama Calls Jay-Z His Nigga, As Beyonce And Jay-Z Raise $4 Million For Obama

How do you get re-elected back to the white house? Apparently by getting famous musicians to host fundraisers in your honour. Jay-Z and Beyonce's New York fund-raiser for President Obama raised $4 million for his campaign and now Katy Perry has revealed that she will perform at an upcoming event for the Democratic nominee.

Jay-Z and Beyonce's fund-raiser took place last night at the rapper's Manhattan 40/40 club where 100 guests each paid $40,000 to attend. And apparently Obama and the power couple are BFFs. Beyonce introduced Obama to the room, noting, "I can't tell you how proud we are to host tonight's event with President Obama. We believe in his vision."

The president told the crowd, "Jay-Z now knows what my life is like. We both have daughters, and our wives are more popular than we are. So we've got a little bond there." He added, "To Jay and Bee, thank you so much for your friendship. Beyonce could not be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent."
