Chris Brown releases diss song for Drake, gets neck tattoo

Let the games begin! Chris Brown has taken the ‘bold step’ towards what we would like to call a forthcoming epic ‘war of words’ between himself and recent nemesis Drake by releasing a diss song for him.

The Pop/R&B singer has responded on record to the infamous club brawl with Drake which took place in June. Brown’s verse is featured on a remix of Chief Keef’s ‘I Don’t Like‘ song featuring Kanye West, Jadakiss, Pusha T and Big Sean and The Game.

Breezy raps;

They throwing’ bottles, I’m throwing’ models…. I be singing’, he be singing’, so it’s on sight….. Them eyebrows? Man, them shits is yikes / OVO, you overdose, screaming’ Y.O.L.O. though, I live twice!

Drake is yet to respond to the song.

Meanwhile Chris Brown continues to ink his body, filling every space that’s left with tattoos. The 23-year-old just got a huge neck tattoo done by Peter Koskela aka PeterTattooist. The tattoo is described as an ‘Indian chief transforming into a wolf’.

CONFESSION OF A LADY: I Wish I Never Had Revenge Séx

There hadn’t been any of those your-boyfriend-is-totally-about-to-dump-you signs. None of my friends had warned me that they thought it might happen anytime soon. He hadn’t mentioned any “problems in our relationship” at all.
It’s safe to say that I wasn’t expecting to be single by the time I got home from school that day—but I sure was.
You’ve got to understand, this is my first serious high school boyfriend we’re talking about. You know, the one who I planned on marrying? The one I lost my virginity to? The one that I imagined being with for forever? Yep, that was him. One day we were perfect and the next we were over.

The following day at school I anticipated the worst: Passing each other awkwardly in the hall, having to sit near him at lunch and not laugh when he said something funny, him knowing that I had been crying during the minutes before class. But that “worst” doesn’t even come close to what really happened. Ready for it? Are you sure?

HE WAS WITH ANOTHER GIRL.
Like really? How could he be so awful to me? They were holding hands and even kissing during passing period. I wanted to die. Cue the combination of humiliation and depression. Obviously our relationship had meant nothing to him–when to me, it was one of the most important things in life. How could I have been such an idiot for letting him mess with my emotions that way. I wasn’t sad anymore, I was livid. And I needed to find some way to get even with him.

If he thought he could just go off and be with another girl so quickly after our relationship was over, that sure meant that I could do the same with another boy. But not just any boy, I wanted to make sure that it was the one person that would hurt him the most—one of his best friends.

I knew which one to pick immediately; he had always been someone that my ex-boyfriend was jealous of. Without consulting my friends, I texted him the next day, asking if he wanted to hang out, but I’m sure he knew that I meant something more. When he came over, I was ready. There had always been some séxual tension between us but now, with my boyfriend out of the picture, nothing was stopping us . . . or me from having revenge sex.

We kissed and it was really great, but it just didn’t feel right. His hands moved up my shirt and I liked how it felt but hated that it was him at the same time. I went down on him and wanted to make it fantastic for him, wanted him to finish, but only so the news would get back to my ex boyfriend. By the time we had séx, I don’t even know what I was thinking. I only knew that revenge séx wasn’t what I pictured it would be.

It was such a convoluted experience of things I thought I wanted and the emotions that only made me realize how bad of an idea it had all been. I felt dirty and wrong. Believe me, the séx was good while it was happening (when isn’t it?), but the way it made me feel after was so not what I expected. Revenge séx is NOT all it’s cracked up to be in the movies.

I wanted to go back in time and forget the whole thing. I wished that I could have found ANY other way to get over this relationship. Anything besides having revenge séx. I just wish I had known that it would have felt so wrong. If I had, I would never have done it in the first place.

NIGERIA IS HEADING FOR BREAK UP – Bishop Oyedepo

“I want to believe that what we have on our hands today is an islamisiation agenda being propagated and sponsored by some religious bigots who are poised for war, and if government does not decisively stem down this tide, Nigeria may cease to be a nation.”

The Chancellor of Covenant University, Bishop David Oyedepo, has called for a comprehensive overhaul of Nigeria's security apparatus with a view to check mating the wicked acticvities of those he called ‘religious bigots’ scheming to Islamise Nigeria through repeated attacks on churches.
Oyedepo also urged the Federal Government to be more committed to the insecurity problem, failure of which he noted, may lead to disintegration.

In his address titled - Towards the rescue of a nation on the brink of collapse: Necessity for a new generation of thinkers - delivered at the seventh convocation of Covenant University on Friday, Oyedepo said consistent attacks by Boko Haram leaves much suspicion in its trail.

He noted that if Boko Haram members are agitating for their rights as they claim, government institutions rather that churches should have been their targets. “Now let us think: If Boko Haram, as claimed by some of their symphatisers, is fighting the government for its rights, the question is, is it the church that is depriving them of such rights? If the bombs in the North are just reactions to class oppression or poverty in the nation, why are mosques exempted from bombs?

He continued: “Did the militants in the South South, during their struggle, ever attacked worshippers in the mosque on Fridays? A lot of political hypocrisy must be going on here.

“Are there no Muslins in the West, South and East of Nigeria? Why are they not shooting at people in churches who gather for worship? Why are they not throwing bombs at Christians? I believe some individuals are simply without any other mission other than breaking Nigeria.”

He said insecurity today remains the nation’s greatest albatross, dwarfing other national malaise like poverty, corruption, unemployment, among others.

“Until we solve the security problems, we may not solve the economic problems. If you kill for the sake of conversion, can that dead man be convertible? Rather, you have lost a God-like asset for your nation and lost an opportunity to live a better life," he said.

I Have Tape Evidence Against Charly Boy; Let's Meet In Court –Publisher

The controversial story linking the area father, Charly Boy, to gay activities is far from being over. While the former PMAN President has denied the report and even asked his lawyer to sue National Mirrow, a paper owned by popular Billionaire, Jimoh Ibrahim, Olu gathered that another publisher has declared that he has a "tape" that will expose the truth.
Ed Jatto, the publisher of Danfo Express, has reacted to a press release by Charly Boy on the matter. He said his credibility is at stake and he will not allow anyone to embarrass him. “I find it laughable that Charly Boy is subtly backtracking now,” said Jatto.

“He knows I have the tape, I told him when he asked me, and if he had asked to listen to it then, I wouldn’t have minded playing it to him. As it is now, I am not interested in playing it to him at any kangaroo press conference.

"Charly Boy believes so much in suing people. We all know he has sued National Mirror and now he wants to sue me too. So, I’ll just say he should go ahead and sue and we’ll meet in court where the tape will eventually be played for the whole world to hear,” he assured.

Jatto disclosed that he is also preparing to sue Charly Boy as soon as the truth comes out. “I like men who stick to their words, which he hasn’t done. When the tape is played in court and I’m vindicated, I would press for damages because he has caused me considerable embarrassment. It is too late for him now to start asking me to bring the tape to a press conference," he said.

17 killed as gunmen attack Kenyan churches

Gunmen killed 17 people and wounded dozens in gun and grenade attacks on two churches Sunday in the Kenyan town of Garissa near the border with Somalia, officials said.
Wearing balaclavas, the attackers killed two armed police — posted outside churches following previous attacks — before bursting inside to target worshippers as they held prayer services.
Witnesses said bodies lay scattered on the floor inside the blood spattered buildings — a Roman Catholic church and an Africa Inland Church.
“It is a terrible scene, you can see bodies lying in the churches,” said regional police chief Leo Nyongesa.
At least 40 people were rushed to hospital, several in a critical condition, the Kenyan Red Cross said.
The Red Cross, which put the death toll at 17, flew the three most critically injured victims by air ambulance to the capital Nairobi.
Three children were reported to be among the dead.
“It is a horrible sight to see,” said Hussein Abdi, a resident of Garissa, a garrison town populated mainly by Muslim ethnic Somalis and located some 140 kilometres (85 miles) from the border.
Condemning the attacks as a “horrible and very worrying act”, the Vatican deplored that “among terrorist groups, attacks on Christians gathered on Sunday in their place of worship has become a method, believed to be particularly efficient, of spreading hatred and fear,” spokesman Federico Lombardi said.
Nigeria has suffered a string of almost weekly attacks on church services in recent months in which dozens of faithful have been killed.
Kenya has suffered a spate of gun, grenade and bomb attacks since sending troops into southern Somalia last October to target Shebab rebels fighting to overthrow the weak UN-backed government in the Horn of Africa state.
Later, the pro-Shebab Twitter site Al-Kataib boasted of a “successful operation in Garissa” but did not specifically claim responsibility. Nairobi has blamed previous assaults on the Al-Qaeda linked Shebab.
Kenyan Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka said Sunday that the nation “will not be intimidated by such cowardly acts” and urged Kenyans to “exercise religious tolerance.”
The Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims condemned the attacks, saying that “all places of worship must be respected.”
“We want to send our condolences, and we are sad that no arrests have been made yet,” said chairman Abdulghafur El-Busaidy.
Police said up to seven men had carried out the attacks which came two days after a gunmen killed a Kenyan driver and abducted four foreign aid workers from the Dadaab refugee camp, some 80 kilometres (50 miles) to the northeast.
Last week a grenade blast in a bar in Kenya’s main port of Mombasa killed three people, a day after the US embassy warned of the threat of attack.
Search efforts continued for the abducted aid workers, two men and two women who work with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), and who come from Canada, Norway, Pakistan and the Philippines, according to police.
Kenya’s army scoured border areas for a third straight day amid fears that the gunmen and their hostages had crossed into Somalia, around 100 kilometres from Dadaab, the world’s largest refugee camp.
Attacks and cross-border raids in the region blamed on the Shebab, including the kidnapping in October of two Spaniards working for Medecins sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders), were key to Kenya’s decision to invade Somalia.
The Shebab still control large parts of southern Somalia, despite African Union troops, government forces and Ethiopian soldiers wresting control of several key bases from the insurgents.
Since the 1991 ouster of then president Mohamed Siad Barre, Somalia has been governed by ruthless warlords, rival militia groups, pirate gangs and Islamist fighters, each controlling their own limited fiefdoms.
Hundreds of thousands of Somalis have fled to Kenya as well as other neighbouring nations since the collapse of a formal government two decades ago, while crippling drought and famine racked the lawless nation last year.

16-year old girl gang-raped in SUV for 5 days

A sixteen-year-old girl from the city of Jaipur in India survived a 20-day ordeal where she was repeatedly raped by five youths in a forest near a village in Ajmer district.

According to a report in The Times of India, the teenager managed to escape and inform her family who then approached the police.

During the entire period, the girl was confined in an SUV in which she was allegedly kidnapped.

The report says the girl was at her aunt’s house for the summer holidays when she was abducted.

“She says that she was kept in the car for 20 days and the five youths took turns to rape her. She says she was repeatedly raped,” the report quoted a policeman as saying. The victim claimed that she was made to eat and sleep in the car only.

Outrage as NYSC posts graduates to Borno, others

Corps members posted to Yobe, Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Bornu and Bauchi states have asked the National Youth Service Corps to redeploy them from these trouble states.

The corps members, who expressed sadness as they received their call-up letters for the Batch B NYSC service year, said they were confused as they did not know what to do due to the spate of bombings and other forms of insecurity in these states.

Some of the corps members and their families, who expressed their worries on various social network sites including Facebook and Twitter, said they were extremely sad and disappointed when they received their call-up letters, deploying them to trouble states where there is currently curfew, threats of reprisals and censeless bombings.

Some of the comments on the social network sites read, “We need to arise and stop the government from sentencing us and our loved ones to death. Is our government/NYSC this heartless or simply inhumane? We seek our immediate redeployment, we want to live in places where we can work with peace of mind.’’

Our correspondents learnt that authorities of the NYSC had also been under pressure from parents and prospective corps members posted to northern states, who had been seeking alternative posting.

Our Correspondent learnt in Abuja on Sunday that the NYSC was already collaborating with the affected states on how to ensure security for the corps members posted to their states.

But speaking through the Borno State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Inuwa Bwala, in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Abuja on Sunday, the Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, made a case for corps members to be posted to the state.

He argued that the security situation in the state was being exaggerated by detractors to further isolate the state from the rest of the country.

He said, “While it is true that we have security challenges, it is a fact that these challenges are not exclusive to Borno State.

“We don’t have on record any attack on visitors neither do we have any record of attacks on the NYSC camp or corps members posted to and currently serving in Borno State.”
